Fractional Operations Analysis & Support

An operations lead, for the part of the week you actually need one

Ongoing guidance to strengthen systems, support decisions and keep key priorities moving, for organizations that have outgrown doing everything themselves but cannot yet justify a full-time operations role.

What it is

Standing support, scoped to your organization

A SOLVR review tells you what to fix and in what order. Fractional support is how a small organization keeps that momentum without putting the whole list on the founder’s desk. It is a recurring, defined block of analysis and support, with the same human-led judgment behind it.

The shape is set in the Statement of Work: what is covered, how often we meet, what gets reviewed and what you can expect between sessions. It is practical operational support, not a retainer that exists to be billed against.

  • Strengthen the systems a review flagged as fragile
  • Prepare the facts behind decisions before they are made
  • Keep priorities visible and moving month to month
  • A second set of eyes on process, reporting and risk

Where it helps most

Situations a fractional arrangement is built for

After a SOLVR review
The roadmap exists. Somebody has to own the follow-through, check progress and adjust when a fix does not land the way the plan assumed.
Growing past the founder
More clients, more staff, more systems. The owner cannot be the only person who understands how the operation fits together.
Nonprofit capacity
An executive director running programs, fundraising and the board rarely has time left for operations. A fractional analyst takes that seat part-time.
Between hires
An office manager or operations coordinator has left. Support that keeps the systems standing and documents them before the next person arrives.
Preparing for scrutiny
A loan application, an audit, a new accountant or a grant report that needs records to be meticulously accurate and organized.
Decision support
A recurring need for someone to gather the evidence, lay out the options and write the brief before leadership decides.
How it is scoped

Defined, in writing, before it starts

Fractional support follows the same path as every engagement here: an inquiry, a discovery call, then a Statement of Work that sets out the deliverables, cadence, responsibilities, fee and payment schedule. Work begins once that is signed and payment terms, including any deposit, are satisfied.

If you have not had a SOLVR review, we will usually suggest starting with one, or with a SOLVR-Core on the most pressing concern, so that the ongoing support is aimed at what the evidence says matters, rather than at what is loudest.
