See what is really happening before fixing the wrong problem
SOLVR is a human-led organizational diagnostic for small and mid-sized businesses, startups and nonprofits. It is for the moment when processes are breaking down, information is incomplete, risks are emerging, or something simply feels off and nobody can name it.
Evidence in, priorities out
Using stakeholder input, relevant records, workflow observations and structured analysis, SOLVR identifies operational vulnerabilities, information gaps and the conditions that produce them. Findings are evaluated and prioritized so leadership can see what the evidence supports, why it matters and what deserves attention first, before time and money go into the wrong solution.
Each engagement is tailored. Sometimes the job is to surface vulnerabilities across the organization. Sometimes a specific weakness has already been identified and the job is a deeper analytical investigation of what is happening, why it matters and what to watch next.
- Workflow failures and unclear ownership
- Information gaps between people and systems
- Fragile processes and single points of failure
- Emerging risks that have not been looked at squarely
The Intelligence Cycle, pointed at your operation
Applying the Intelligence Cycle to business is not unheard of, but it remains uncommon. It is the discipline our founder was trained in, and it is what keeps a SOLVR review from being a list of opinions.
- PlanningDefine the concern, the decision it serves and what we need to know.
- CollectionStakeholder conversations, records, exports, workflow observation.
- ProcessingOrganize what was collected so it can actually be compared.
- AnalysisTest assumptions, trace dependencies, weigh the evidence.
- DisseminationFindings and priorities written for the person who has to decide.
- EvaluationDid it answer the question? What still needs watching?
SOLVR Deep Dive and SOLVR-Core
Same method, same standard of evidence. The difference is scope.
SOLVR Deep Dive
Comprehensive operational review
- Scope: the whole organization or an entire business line, across the functions that matter
- Deliverables: an evidence-based diagnosis, a scorecard and an implementation roadmap
- Best when: you are growing, changing leadership, cleaning up years of inherited process, or preparing for lenders, auditors or a new CPA who will want everything to reconcile
- Outcome: you know which fixes come first, which can wait, and which problems were never the real problem
SOLVR-Core
Focused review
- Scope: one defined concern, one recurring problem or one decision
- Deliverables: the most urgent operational risks behind it, converted into a practical action plan
- Best when: the same handoff keeps breaking, a report nobody trusts drives a decision, or a vulnerability is already known and needs a proper investigation
- Outcome: a short, prioritized plan you can start on this month, and a clear signal if the issue is bigger than it looked
Both reviews are quoted as a fixed fee in a Statement of Work after the discovery call. Each has a starting price; complexity factors such as the number of business lines, stakeholders, systems, data sources and deliverables set the final figure.
Leaders who need visibility, not another dashboard
- Small businesses
- Founder-led companies small enough that the owner knows every employee by name, where the owner is still the operations department and the systems were built by whoever sat at the desk last.
- Nonprofits
- Executive directors and operations leads managing programs, grants, reporting and a board, often with processes inherited from a predecessor.
- Faith-based organizations
- Congregations and ministries whose administration has grown past what volunteers and a part-time administrator can track.
- During growth
- When taking on more clients, customers or members would be welcome if the operation could absorb it without becoming an expensive mess.
- During transition
- A new executive director, a retiring office manager, a merger, a new system, or the fourth person in three years holding the same seat.
- Under recurring strain
- The month-end that is always late, the renewal that always slips, the question that always takes three people to answer.
What people ask about SOLVR
How does a SOLVR engagement begin?
With a defined concern, a recurring problem or a decision you need to make. Guided intake, discovery conversations, a review of the relevant records and structured analysis then examine what is happening, why, what is missing and what could break next.
What do I receive at the end?
Prioritized findings and recommended actions. A Deep Dive adds a scorecard and an implementation roadmap. Every finding is tied to the evidence that supports it, so you can see why it matters and what deserves attention first.
What makes SOLVR different from a process-improvement consultant?
SOLVR incorporates the Intelligence Cycle: planning, collection, processing, analysis, dissemination and evaluation. It examines assumptions, dependencies, weak signals and risk, not only whether a process could be faster. The analysis, judgment and recommendations remain human-led.
When does the work begin?
After the agreement is signed, the scope and deliverables are documented, payment terms have been satisfied including any required deposit, and the project start date is confirmed.
Do I have to implement the recommendations with you?
No. SOLVR is diagnostic first, and the findings are yours to act on however you choose. When it makes sense, implementation support such as process mapping, SOP development, workflow cleanup or dashboards can be scoped as a separate engagement.
Start leading with clarity
Describe the concern, the recurring problem or the decision in front of you. The discovery call is where we work out whether a Deep Dive or a Core review fits, and what it would cover.
