One defined task, done properly, billed by the hour
Not every operational need calls for a full review or a standing arrangement. Hourly support is targeted assistance for a specific piece of work you can describe in a sentence.
The kind of work hourly support covers
These are the implementation and support tasks that often follow a SOLVR review, and that organizations also bring to us on their own.
- Process mapping
- One workflow, documented as it actually runs, with the handoffs, owners and failure points marked, so it can be fixed or handed to someone new.
- SOP development
- Standard operating procedures written for the person who will follow them, not for a binder nobody opens.
- Data consolidation
- Exports from multiple systems combined into one usable reporting file, so a question gets one answer instead of three.
- Data cleanup and standardization
- Duplicates, inconsistent names and formats and stray categories resolved so the file can be trusted and reused.
- Document organization
- The nine folders of last year’s financials, or the records a lender or auditor is about to ask for, put into an order someone else can follow.
- Decision briefs
- The facts, options and trade-offs behind a decision gathered and written up plainly, bottom line up front.
Scope it, estimate it, do it
Tell us the task and what “done” looks like. We confirm the scope, estimate the hours and agree on it in writing before starting. If the task turns out to be a symptom of something larger, we will say so rather than keep billing hours against it, and you can decide whether a SOLVR-Core review makes more sense.
Hourly work is human-led like everything else here. Software may help organize or map, but the judgment about what to keep, what to cut and what matters is ours.
